difference of infectious mononucleosis caused by EPV and CMV ?
EBV mononucleosis: Classic triad (fever, pharyngitis, lymphadenopathy), positive Monospot test, common in adolescents.
CMV mononucleosis: Less severe pharyngitis, negative Monospot test, often prolonged fatigue, affects all ages.
Diagnosis: EBV = Monospot + EBV antibodies; CMV = CMV IgM or PCR.
