MOA

- works by competitive blocking the post synaptic dopamine receptor in the brain
- this eliminates dopamine neurotransmission which helps with symptoms of delusions and hallucinations

- schizophrenia
- moderate to severe manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder

- depression
