Mechanism of action (Vitamin K Antagonists)

A
  • Inhibits vitamin K epoxide reductase.
  • Prevents recycling of vitamin K to reduced form after carboxylation of coagulation factors II, VII, IX and X.
  • Prevents thrombus formation.
