What are the DSM-V guidelines to diagnosing female sexual dysfunction?

- Experience the symptoms 75%-100% of the time
- Minimum duration of approximately 6 months
- Must cause significant distress
- Not better explained by “nonsexual mental disorder, a consequence of severe relationship distress (e.g., partner violence) or other significant stressors”
- “lifelong v. acquired” and “generalized v. situational”
- Severity scale: mild, moderate or severe
