Obsession: intrusive thoughts cannot be controlled
Compulsions- performance of a task to relieve the obsession

Consciously faking for secondary gain
Factitious ds
Faking to adopt sick role
No secondary gain outside of the sick role
Munchausen sn
Severe, risk to life
Keep ill
By proxy: caregiver causes illness to kid

Can’t find why pt feeling sx

Pain, GI, pseudoneurlogic complains in more than 1 organ system
All tests normal
