Children have physis (growth plate) at ends of that = epiphysis
Other side = metaphysis
Long bone = diaphysis
(adults only have diaphysis and Metaphysis)

SMACK

Slipped = type 1
Metaphysical = type II
Articular-epiphyseal = type III
Complete-metaphysis and epiphysis = type IV
Krushed = V
(also in order of worst prognosis)

  2. Draw a clock face with numbers and ask to draw the hands to say a set time
  3. Repeat the words back to me

If 3 recalled = all good
1/2 = use the clock face - if thats a mess = refere
0 = refer
