Are you concerned about a vestibular schwannoma (acoustic nerouma)
What hearing loss is assoc?
No - benign and slow growing
Sensironeural - can cause loss of corneal reflex in same side too
What is the invx + management of head and neck cancers?
Invx - MRI, endoscopy and FNA if neck mass
Manage
Nasopharngeal - radio
Oropharngeal - chemo
Larngeal - if advanced need larngectomy otherwise radio
Children with glue ear with cleft palate/Down’s syndrome. What is different about their management?
Immediate referral to ENT - rather than wait 2-3 months for things to settle
What causes epiglottis?
Haem influenza
What is the diagnostic test for OSA?
Polysomnography
How does COPD appear on CXR?
