A floating window on the radio monitor screen that maintains a record of the most recent call activity.

TFD operations personnel can activate the emergency alert button on either
the portable or mobile radio by depressing the orange emergency button for
2 seconds
If no response is received after the first attempt to contact the activating
company
FCC personnel shall determine which company activated the emergency alert and attempt to make contact by company number and
radio ID number on the appropriate assigned response channel.
If FCC personnel do not receive a response after three attempts to contact
the company activating the emergency alert, s/he shall
dispatch the closest Battalion Chief and law enforcement assistance immediately.
If multiple emergency alert activations are received from the same incident
without an established incident command, FCC personnel shall immediately dispatch
the closest Battalion Chief and law enforcement assistance without contacting the activating units.
PROCEDURE FOR ACCIDENTAL ACTIVATION AND RADIO RESET
TFD Personnel
1. Immediately notify FCC of the accidental activation.
2. To reset portable and mobile radios:
a. Push and hold the EMER button down for three seconds OR
b. Turn the radio off and then on again.
FCC Personnel
1. Clear the activation from the channel.
