to a supervisory capacity above the rank of firefighter and has sworn the oath of

a. Avoid conflicts of authority as much as possible.

- When ordered by a superior officer
In regards to employee recognition,TFD Officers and Supervisors shall?
a. Commend employees under his/her supervision who perform acts that meet the criteria for the following awards in accordance with the guidelines set forth in TFD Policy 1012.
i. Medal of Valor
ii. Fire Chief’s Award for Excellence
b. Commend employees under his/her supervision for exemplary customer service and nominate him/her for the Fire Chief’s Quality Service Award in accordance with the guidelines set forth in TFD
