what are 3 considerations of QALY?
- ADL
- freedom from pain
- mental ill health and wellbeing
what are the NICE guidelines surrounding QALY and cost-effectiveness?
- <£20,000 per QALY - clearly cost-effective
- £20,000-£30,000 per QALY - other benefits or considerations must be evident
- > £30,000 - strong case needs to be made for tech to be recommended
