Purpose of Protective Marking Policy:
- Assigns a ‘Protective Marking’ to information based on its value and business needs for sharing or restriction.
- Considers business impacts associated with sharing or restricting information.
- Addresses risks in the movement and handling of information within and external to NATS.
Operational Data Security:
- Conducted in accordance with:
- NATS Security Manual Chapter 4 - Information and IT
- Leaflet 5 - Protective Marking
Policy Alignment:
- Designed to meet principles of the ‘International Standard’ on Information Security ISO/IEC 27000 series.
