• EGAA Departure: BLUE
• EGAA Arrival: YELLOW
• EGAA Local: PINK
• Overflight: GREEN

Special Notes:

Circuits: Considered local flights and are also PINK.
Overflights: Defined as flights passing through airspace without departing or landing at the aerodrome. EGAC arrivals and departures are GREEN. However, to distinguish these from other overflights:
* The destination field of an EGAC Arrival will be YELLOW.
* The departure field of an EGAC Departure will be BLUE.

What should ATS personnel do when a non-locally based aircraft announces that the pilot is a student?

ATS personnel should annotate the remarks field with “Student” whenever a non-locally based aircraft announces that the pilot is a student.

How can ATS personnel open, close, and change EFPS roles/positions at Aldergrove?

ATS personnel can manage EFPS roles/positions as follows:

Opening and Closing Roles/Positions:

• Achieved by selecting OPEN or CLOSED at the bottom left of the workstation.
• If a role is already open and being used on another workstation, closing it will close the role for all users, resulting in a ‘greying out’ of active strips and loss of information strips.

Changing Roles:

• Method 1: Select the role drop-down menu on the top left of the workstation to change the workstation to the specific role without opening or closing it.
• Method 2: Select the role currently selected at the bottom left of the workstation to bring up alternative roles for both Tower and Radar.
