Permanent Staff - New Applications:
- Admin Manager prepares and authorizes Form IDU19 (Pass Application/Renewal) in line with BIAL Airport ID Unit Policy.
- Requests CTC security check details from NATS Corporate Security.
- Issues confirmation of employment letter.
- Prepares Permit for Tools of the Trade (IDU4) if required.
Permanent Staff - Renewals:
- Staff must submit pass renewal form (IDU19) to unit management before expiration.
Reporting Lost/Stolen Passes:
- Inform BIAL Security Office, Airport Police, and Admin Manager immediately.
- Complete Form IDU6 (Lost or Stolen Pass Report) with an Authorized Signatory.
- Replacement charge incurred.
Visitor Passes:
- Airside Visitor pass applications follow BIAL Airport ID Unit Policy.
- Form IDU2A for 1-5 day passes.
- Form IDU2B for 6-60 day passes.
- Return passes to BIAL Security when no longer required.
- Visitors must read the Visitors Brief on Fire and Health & Safety Procedures and sign the Visitors Book.
Authorisation:
- Company authorized signatories complete Form IDU15 annually, certified by the General Manager.
- Authorized signatories: GM - Mr. T Gilpin, GEM - Mr. A Irving.
- Security Focal Point (SFP) manages all security matters, as per the NATS Security Manual.
