Permanent Staff - New Applications:

  • Admin Manager prepares and authorizes Form IDU19 (Pass Application/Renewal) in line with BIAL Airport ID Unit Policy.
  • Requests CTC security check details from NATS Corporate Security.
  • Issues confirmation of employment letter.
  • Prepares Permit for Tools of the Trade (IDU4) if required.

Permanent Staff - Renewals:

  • Staff must submit pass renewal form (IDU19) to unit management before expiration.

Reporting Lost/Stolen Passes:

  • Inform BIAL Security Office, Airport Police, and Admin Manager immediately.
  • Complete Form IDU6 (Lost or Stolen Pass Report) with an Authorized Signatory.
  • Replacement charge incurred.

Visitor Passes:

  • Airside Visitor pass applications follow BIAL Airport ID Unit Policy.
  • Form IDU2A for 1-5 day passes.
  • Form IDU2B for 6-60 day passes.
  • Return passes to BIAL Security when no longer required.
  • Visitors must read the Visitors Brief on Fire and Health & Safety Procedures and sign the Visitors Book.

Authorisation:

  • Company authorized signatories complete Form IDU15 annually, certified by the General Manager.
  • Authorized signatories: GM - Mr. T Gilpin, GEM - Mr. A Irving.
  • Security Focal Point (SFP) manages all security matters, as per the NATS Security Manual.
