Liver
- clear out toxins in blood and creates bile

chemically and physically digests food
Large intestine
Absorbs water, producing and abosrobing vitamins, bringing feces towards rectum to be expelled.
Esophagus
Transports food to stomach
Pancreas
Produces hormones called insluin and glycoegn to regulate blood sugar levels.
If low –> glycogen released which tells cells to release sugars and tells liver to make sugars
If high –> Insulin released which stores excess suagr into cells or brings where needed and tells liver to stop making sugars
Small intestine
- abosrobs nuitrents

- sheet of muscle under the lungs which controls breathing
Treahea
Air passes through trachea and makes its way to the lungs
Lungs
Where gas exchange occurs and CO2 is expelled. Transports oxygen.
Heart
Circulates blood around the body
spleen
controls blood levels
Superior vena cava
Blood vessel that takes blood from top of body. It is a vein
Inferior vena cava
Blood vessel that takes blood from the bottom of the body. Large vein
Cecum
Absorbs fluids and salts. Where the Ceceum is the point where the small intestine joins the large intestine
Mensentary
A wall around the intestine which holds it in place
