PA 6 Flashcards
What can you bring to the class?
I bring real-world leadership, hands-on problem-solving, and the perspective of someone who’s navigated multiple careers. I love sharing what I know, whether it’s about emergency response, research techniques, or just life experience.
How would the class benefit as a whole from having you as a member?
I’m supportive and thrive in a team atmosphere. If a classmate is struggling with a concept, I’m the type to offer help or study together. I’ve also learned the importance of empathy, especially after seeing how mental health issues affected my own family.
What makes you diverse?
I grew up in a neighborhood with many cultural and economic challenges, which opened my eyes to health inequities. My upbringing, combined with my years in the NYPD and my research at NYU, has given me a multifaceted view of patient care and community needs.
What would our class be missing if we didn’t pick you?
You’d miss someone who’s been tested by high-stress environments and still believes in compassion first. You’d also miss a dedicated teammate who looks out for others and shares knowledge freely.
Why should we pick you?
I’m committed to patient care, community, and the mission of this program. My work ethic, combined with my academic achievements and law enforcement background, shows I can handle the demands of PA school while still being a supportive classmate.
