PA 11 Flashcards
What is your biggest weakness.
I tend to set very high standards for myself and can become frustrated if I don’t meet them quickly. This sometimes leads me to take on extra tasks instead of delegating or asking for help. However, I’ve been working on balancing my drive with a willingness to rely on others.
- What is your biggest personality flaw?
I can overanalyze situations to the point of hesitation. That came from my background in law enforcement, where every detail mattered. I’m learning to trust my instincts and make timely decisions without sacrificing accuracy.
- What would your co-workers say is your greatest weakness?
My co-workers would likely say I have a hard time letting things go if I feel they’re not done right. I learned this as a supervisor, where I always wanted the team’s work to be top-notch. I’m learning to better delegate and accept that progress often beats perfection.
- What is one thing your classmates dislike about you?
They might say I can be too direct at times. I’ve always believed honesty is key, but I’m aware not everyone is used to that style. I’m making an effort to temper my feedback with empathy and a gentler tone.
- If you are not accepted into this program, what do you think would be the reason?
If I’m not accepted, I believe it could be because I still need to strengthen certain aspects of my application—maybe I didn’t show how all of my experiences tie directly to your program’s mission. I’m aware this is a highly competitive process, and even strong candidates can fall short in one area or another. But I’m committed to refining any gaps, whether it’s through additional clinical hours, or better conveying my dedication. If I do have to try again, I’ll come back even stronger, because I’m determined to contribute to the PA profession.
