Why don’t you want to be a doctor?
I respect physicians immensely, but the PA path allows me to provide high-quality care in a team setting with a more flexible career trajectory., I’m eager to apply my experience in a role that balances science, hands-on care, and collaboration. The PA profession meets those needs perfectly.
Tell me about your motivations for becoming a PA.
I’ve always loved science and wanted to make a tangible impact on people’s lives. My EMT work and biochemistry research deepened my commitment to healthcare. Becoming a PA allows me to blend medical knowledge, patient advocacy, and the practical, hands-on approach that energizes me every day.
Why have you chosen to pursue the PA profession?
I thrive in a team-based environment. The PA profession gives me broad training and the ability to adapt to different specialties. It also lets me focus on direct patient care rather than getting lost in administrative duties. I want to be where I can see and feel the difference I’m making.
