Multiple micro fractures at the point of insertion of the tendon into the tibial tuberosity
Usually in athletic people

A
- Knee pain for weeks- getting worse
- Normal range of knee movements
- Worse during activity, settles with rest
- Tenderness over tibial tuberosity
- Swelling around the tibial tuberosity
