• Extensor pollicis Brevis
• Abductor pollicis longus
Becomes inflamed

A
Pain on radial side of wrist
Tenderness over radial styloid process

Abduction of thumb against resistance is painful

Positive Finklestein test

What is the management of De Quervain Tensyovitis?
A
- Analgesia and steroids
* Immobilisation of thumb with splint

A
Examiner pulls the thumb of the patient in ulnar deviation and longitudinal traction.
