The regulation of the rate and force of breathing using information from sensory neurons in the lungs
Chemical regulation
The regulation of the rate and force of breathing using information about the amount of carbon dioxide in the blood
Chemoreceptors
Receptors that monitor the levels of chemicals in your blood or other tissues
