How should activities that are a part of an exercise program follow the F.I.T. formula?
For your workout to be effective, the activity needs to follow the F.I.T. formula. F. stands for frequency. Workouts should be scheduled three to four times a week. I. stands for intensity. You need to work your muscles at an intensity that permits you to achieve overload. T. stands for time. The more time you spend exercising the more physical fit you get. Together these factors determine whether a workout helps you achieve your fitness goals.
