- Between the tendons of EHL and EDL (lateral to EHL)
- Deep to muscles/tendons, cruciate crural ligament (inferior ext retinaculum)

- Medial/lateral tarsal arteries
- Arcuate artery
- 1st dorsal metatarsal (terminal branch)
- Deep plantar artery (terminal branch)
- Artery of the sinus tarsi (sometimes)
Lateral tarsal artery
- Can be more than 1
- Deep to EDB & EHB
Lateral tarsal artery supplies
- Bones, joints, and ligaments that it passes by

- Chronic inversion ankle sprains

Inferior leg (relationships)
- Anterior tibial artery and deep fibular nerve are between TA and EXL
Distal to ankle joint (relationships)
- Dorsalis pedis and deep fibular nerve are between EHL and EDL
Medial terminal branch of deep fibular nerve pathway
- Follows dorsalis pedis and 1st dorsal metatarsal arteries
