What is CMT?
A
An autosomal dominant condition which affects peripheral motor and sensory neurons

How does CMT present?
A
- High foot arches
- Distal muscle wasting (inverted champagne bottle legs)
- Lower leg weakness
- Weakness in the hands
- Reduced tendon reflexes
- Reduced muscle tone

How is CMT managed?
A
- Physio and OT input
- Analgesia for neuropathic pain
- Surgery for any specific joint deformities
