A

Sudden enlargement of a pituitary tumour usually secondary to haemorrhage or infection

  • Sudden onset headache
  • Vomiting
  • Neck stiffness
  • Visual field defect: bitemporal superior quadrantic defect
  • Pituitary insufficiency
