A

Santa Anna led his army north to San Antonio. Texas has a small force of men defending the Alamo. Santa Anna laid seige to the Alamo with over 2,000 troops for 13 days. On the last day, Santa Anna attached the Alamo. All but 5 men were killed.

A

Remember the Alamo; remember Goliad; the Texans attacked the Mexican army in the early afternoon. The Texans caught them by surprise and routed the Mexican army. Santa Anna was captured trying to leave the battlefield. He was forced to sign a document giving Texas its freedom(treaty of velasco)
