People started rebelling. They also beat, tarred, and stole the tax collectors horse
Washingtons response to whiskey rebellion
Put 13,000 troops in Pennsylvania to put down rebellion. Once troops arrived, Rebels scattered ending the rebellion
Significance of whiskey rebellion
Washington is going to enforce the consitution and there will be no more rebelling
