The tympanic membrane/ear drum vibrates.

The ossicles amplify the sound.

The cochlea uses hair and liquid to hear
6th part of hearing?
The sound then goes to the brain semicircular canal.
Why does the cochlea have hairs?
So then your brain can get a better sound from the ear.
What are the ossicles?
They are the smallest bones that amplify the sound
Why is the pinna shaped in a certain position?
It makes it easier for the sound waves to bounce into your ears.
Why do we have earwax?
So it can fight of infection and keep off dirt and dust.
How much fat is in earwax?
20%-50%
What happens if you don’t have enough earwax?
You are open to infections and ears could become itchy and dry.
