At what pressure do both compressors start operating?
When main res is below 650 kPa
At what pressure will one compressor shut down?
When Main res pressure reaches between 750 & 900 kPa
What do air dryers do?
Remove oil, dirt and water
What does compressor Gov do?
Tells compressor when to turn on & off according to Main Res pressure
If compressor Gov is isolated what will compressors do?
On a 3 car:
If already running they will continue to run without stopping
If it was already stopped they will remain in the state they are in.
On a 6 car:
There are 2 Compressor Governors so you must turn both cocks for the above to occur on both trailer cars
