Closes external dampers.
Deactivates HVAC.

Charges the MR to a maximum operational pressure, then shuts down the air compressors

When waiting at the wash, After selecting wash mode, what indication will the driver get that the train is prepared and ready to proceed for the wash?
A TMS alert will indicate when the train is ready
When the driver turns the stable startup switch to stable what will the HMI display and for how long?
‘Stabling sequence initiated’

Which doors must be closed when stabling / stating up?
All door’s including the bulkhead door
Stabling procedure - Leading Cab
- stop at the Stopping Mark
- If stopping in an open-ended track, ensure the leading cab is stopped 1-2m clear of failing point of any adjacent track.
- SET SPEED to OFF
- MC to OFF
- ensure EMY, TRIP NOT SET & PARK BRAKE lights on
- Brake Cyl. EMY pressure
- TMS logs off
- ‘Vacant Operations’ on HMI
- ensure unnecessary equipment on off or auto
- take HCMT access card exit bulkhead door
- ensure it locks
Stabling procedure internal inspections
Check
- lighting is fully illuminated
- Fire doors are open
- General condition of floors, walls, seats, windows, and cameras, bellows & gangways
- Internal DER handles in normal position with covers on
