- saloon door (auto. Iso’d by DCU)
- brake hasn’t released on a unit (NOT SPB)
- HVAC
- PA (most common)
- CCTV (most common)
Reduced Performance fault indicator causes?
Problem may be occurring or has occurred (one of more driving motors is not powering on traction system)
If a faulty door has been isolated what will extinguish?
Door system Indicator light
(If it auto isolates when door is closed there wont be a fault light at all to begin with. The black button on the door itself will have ‘door not in use’ illuminated instead).
What does the Compressor Fault indicator tell us when illuminated?
That main res pressure has dropped below the pressure switch setting (not a fault)
When will aTraction System local fault light illuminate?
When the traction system on the local motor has a serious defect OR
Train stable, HSCB, Light Control MCB has tripped

How can we restart ED when electric brake Inhibit button is pressed/ operated before 5 min time out?
But MC back into coast
What is usually the cause of an illuminated indicator on the fault panel?
Fault or Isolation of the item referred to, or item is currently in operation
If Panto CONTROL MCB is tripped what is isolated?
