A tone will sound for 3 seconds and then EMERGENCY BRAKE APPLIES
Why are they called hand and foot switches and not pilot valves? *
Because they are operated electrically not pneumatically

Move 15* anti clockwise

What will reset the Vicers timer?

What warning will a driver get that vicers cycle has advanced towards EMY brake?
Vicers light flas for 5 secs
Audible buzzer for a further 5 seconds
If not pressed EMY brake applies
What will happen if VICERS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT BUTTON is held down for more than 5 seconds?
Emergency brake will apply
How will we know when to isolate Vicers?
A vicers fault light illuminates on the fault panel
If pantos are lowered does that shut down the train?
No we must press the stable button otherwise the batteries will go flat
Does the CCTV automatically turn on when cab is activated?
No you press the S button
Unless a DDA is pressed or a PEI is activated/ acknowledged
What does the wheel slip status light indicate?
Yellow illuminated indicator when wheel slip is detected
