Clemenceau’s opinion
Wanted Germany to be punished as they were a threat to France. He also wanted to fully reject Wilson’s 14 points, a naval blockade on Germany and for the Alsace-Lorraine to be given to France.
Lloyd George’s opinion
Didn’t like Wilson’s idea of self-determination and colonial freedom as it would pose a threat to Britain’s empire. He wanted Germany to be punished, but not too Harshly because they were an important trading partner and he wanted to continue the blockade of Germany and make private deals with them.
