Q

Kellogg-Briand Pact (1928)

A

65 nations agreed not to use aggression to settle disputes. However, they did not define aggression so countries were easily able to sneak around the rules. Also, no-one knew what would happen if anyone broke the Pact. It was a significant step towards peace (and a commitment to no violence). The USA signed it, despite Isolationism (and the LoN)
