describe the ‘Climbing Higher’ campaign
Climbing Higher (2006) is the Welsh Assembly Government’s twenty-year policy rospecie audicatio tates of people in Wales.
The funding will target specific audiences’ such as teenagers, young adults leaving education, those from areas of multiple deprivation, women and girls generally, those from ethnic minorities and those with disabilities.
describe the ‘This Girl Can’ campaign
- aims to celebrate active women who are exercising, no matter how well they do it, or how they look.
- The campaign aims to help women overcome the fear of judgement that is stopping too many women and girls from joining in.
describe the ‘What Moves You?’ campaign
- aim to get the women of Wales to dig out their trainers and fall in love with sport. It is administered by Sport Wales and acknowledges that not all women perceive the idea of exercising as something positive.
describe ‘Kick It Out’ campaign
‘Let’s Kick Racism Out of Football’ was launched in 1993 by the Commission for Racial Equality and the Professional Football Association (PFA).
- The campaign has changed its name after many years and is now known as ‘Kick It Out’. Its aim is to tackle discrimination in football.

- aims to increase the number of people with disabilities who regularly take part in sport or exercise.
Some key findings of the Active People Survey show that people with disabilities: - sometimes do not find opportunities accessible or appealing
participation of all groups. - do not know where to find out information
- are often looking to have fun, sometimes with able-bodied people.
- Eight National Disability Sports Organisations (NDSOs) are working with the English Federation of Disability Sport to deliver the campaign, TESTED with backing from Sport England.
