(Apollodoros outlines his reasons for bringing the lawsuit.)
For many reasons, gentlemen of Athens, I wanted to bring this charge against Neaira, which I am now pursuing, and to come before you.
For (and I say that because) I was greatly wronged by Stephanos whose wife this Neaira is.
And having been wronged by him, I was placed in extreme danger, not only myself, but my daughters and my wife.
