antiemetic
acts on several central neurotransmitter systems

what are the contraindictions?
A
CNS depression
circulatroy collapse
previous hypersensitivity
paitens less than 21 and pregnancy

what are the precautions?
A
hypotension
epilepsy and pt affected by alcohol or on anti-depressants

what are the side effects?
A
drowsiness, blurred vision, hypotension, tachycardia, skin rash, extrapyramidal reactiosn (usually the dystonic type)

what are the onst peak and duration?
A
onset 20 minuts
peak 40
duration 6 hours
