Prevents conversion of fibrogen to fibrin. Doesn’t lyse existing clots. Onset IV=immediate. SC= 20-60m. Duration 4-8h

A
Pregnancy, recent surgery, hypersensitivity, active bleed, severe HTN, severe thrombocytopenia
