Vasculogenesis - from blood islands, develop on their own
Angiogenesis - branch off existing
What is the first part of the primitive heart tube and what does it form?
Sinus venosus
SAN
What is the second part of the primitive heart tube and what does it form?
Primitive atrium
Atria and oracles - rough part
What is the third part of the primitive heart tube and what does it form?
Primitive ventricle
Left ventricle
What is the fifth part of the primitive heart tube and what does it form?
Bulbus cordis
Right ventricle and aorta
What is the sixth part of the primitive heart tube and what does it form?
Truncus arteriosus
Aorta and pulmonary trunk
What causes the smooth parts of the atrium?
Interssusception - pulling vessel tissue inward
What make the foramen ovale?
The first and second septums forming staggered openings of ostium that then fuse and cover the holes
How are the aorta and pulmonary trunk separated?
A spiralling truncoconal septum
What is the ductus venosus?
Bypasses the liver
Where do the lungs come from?
Tracheobronchial diverticulum budding off gut tube - endoderm
What is the visceral pleura formed from?
The visceral lateral plate mesoderm
What is the parietal pleura formed from?
The parietal lateral plate mesoderm
