starch test
iodine, the substance should turn into a black-blue colour if it has starch
protein test
copper sulphate solution/ Biuriets reagent , purple colour if it has protein but starts blue
glucose test
Benedict’s solution, red/orange/yellow if it has glucose inside

helps with growth and repair of cells and tissues

help make collagen
minerals
keeping your bones, muscles, heart, and brain working properly. Minerals are also important for making enzymes and hormones.
fibre
allows the muscles in our intestines to move the material along (called peristalsis) and prevents constipation and colon cancer
lipids/fats
as an energy store, as insulation and to make cell membranes.
