I must remember that for the imperative, when verbs ending in “are” are used, “a” is used for the second person, because in the indicative the letter “i” is used.
Devo ricordare che per l’imperativo, quando si usano verbi che finiscono in “are”, per la seconda persona si usa “a”, perché nel’indicativo si usa la lettera “i”.
Don’t go so fast thee is frost and ice on the pavement.
Non andare così velocemente; c’è gelo, e ghiaccio sul marciapiede.
Walk fast! It’s clouding over and we must get to the shelter before it rains, if we want to stay dry.

With the imperative, in the second person, a is used for the are verbs, and i for the ire and ere verbs. For example ….stop the bus and… close the door.
Con l’imperativo, nella seconda persona, si usa un “a”per i verbi “are”, e un “i”per i verbi “ire e ere”. Ad esempio…. ferma l’autobus! e….chiudi la porta!
