I hope the weather brightens up later on.
Spero che il tempo si schiarisca più tardi.
This morning started cloudy, but it’s clearing up now.( brightening up)
Stamattina, era inizialmente nuvoloso, ma poi si sta schiarendo.
It started out raining hard, a real downpour. Now there is only light drizzle. I hope it clears up later on.
Inizialmente pioveva forte, un vero acquazzone. Adesso c’è solo una leggera pioggerellina. Spero che si schiarirà più tardi.
In italian they say the weather is fine, and the sun is hot. But they say it’s hot today.
In italiano si dice che il tempo è bello, e il sole è caldo. Ma si dice che fa caldo oggi.
Lets hurry up; it’s going to rain.
Affrettiamoci; viene a piovere.
This morning I saw a sign that Summer had arrived. Outside the hotel when I arrived there were two persons seated at a table drinking coffee.
Stamattina ho visto un segno che l’estate è arrivata. All’esterno dell’Hotel, quando ne sono entrato, c’erano due persone sedute a un tavolo che prendevano un caffè.
The race proved very eventful, right from the start, on a wet track, which was drying out before a brief downpour made the asphalt damp once again, about halfway through the race.
La gara risultava molto ricca di avvenimenti, fin dalla partenza, su pista bagnata ,che andava asciugandosi prima che un breve rovescio rendesse ancora una volta umido l’asfalto, a circa metà gara.
There was a brief shower this morning which made the track damp, but I think it’s drying out now.
C’era un breve rovescio stamattina che ha reso umida la pista, ma credo che ora vada asciugandosi.
It was a beautiful morning, but I fear it’s going to rain now.
Era una bella mattinata, ma temo che ora venga a piovere.
I think this evening it will gradually dry out.
