What does the “other important information” section on MedProfiler say about colchicine?
A
Maximum of three tablets per course (do not repeat the course within 3 days). If you are also taking colchicine for gout prevention, do not restart your regular dose for at least 12 hours.
Stop taking this medicine and tell your doctor if you develop severe diarrhoea or vomiting; pain, tenderness or weakness of the muscles; numbness or tingling in your fingers or toes; unusual bleeding or bruising; or an infection.
