fight or flight response. This system is engaged when the body is in crisis.
- causes heart to beat faster
- lungs to breath deeper
- blood vessels to constrict

A
Engaged in times of relaxation and is referred to as the feed or breed response.
- increased blood flow to digestive tract and reproductive organs
- slow the heart down, and blood vessels dilate
