What are the two types of exfoliating methods?
Mechanical- rotary brushes, microdermabrasion, manipulation of granular products with finger movements
Chemical: enzymes, AHA, BHA, azelaic acid or Kojic acid. They loosen sebum accumulation and are a desincrustation solution that soften oil debris & dirt around the edges of pores or follicle openings. They lessen appearance of wrinkles & skin discoloration
What is desincrustation?
Process used to soften & emulsify sebum (comedones) in the follicles.
