Cyst & tubercle
Macule
Nodule
Papule
Pustule
Tumor
Vesicle
Wheal
What is a bulla? Give examples?
Large watery filled blister. Similar to vesicle . Requires med ref.
Contact derm. Large second degree burn. Bulbous impetigo, pemphigus
Whats is a cyst or tubercle? Give examples?
Closed abnormal sac contains pus, semi fluid or morbid matter above or below skin. Cyst can be trained a tubercle can’t. Requires med ref
Ex: cyst: severe acne

What are the 7 secondary lesions?
Crust
Excoriation
Fissure
Keloid
Scale
Scar (cicatrix)
Ulcer
What is crust? Example?
Dead cells over a wound or blemish while healing; accumulation of sebum and pus sometimes mixed with epidermal cells.
Ex scab , sore
What is excoriation? Example?
Abrasion caused by scratch
Example: nail cuticle damage from nail biting
