What is dermatitis?
Inflammatory condition of skin ; various forms include lesions, such as eczema, vesicles , papules
Contact with allergens and caustic chemicals causing sensitivity and disorder. Gloves and protective skin creams can help prevent this .
Contact dermatitis
Direct skin contact with allergen. Exposure to allergen will not always cause allergic reaction.
What is the development of hypersensitivity as a result of repeat exposure to allergen over time?

Atopic dermatitis
Inflammatory painful itching desease if skin. Acute or chronic and has dry/ moist lesions?
Eczema
Irritating substances damage the epidermis. Redness sweating, scaling in thing to serious chemical burns. Floods system tissue with water to dilute the irritant therefore swelling occurs. Immune system releases histamines
Irritant contact dermatitis
Acne like condition around mouth consisting of clusters of small papule. Can be caused by toothpaste but it’s not contagious
PeriORAL Dermatitis
A form of eczema characterized by inflammation, DRY OR OILY SCALING , crusting or itchiness. Often on eyebrows, scalp, along hairline, middle of forehead or alongside nose.
Seborrheic dermatitis
Caused by poor circulation in lower legs & can create chronic inflammatory state. Can cause ulcerations, scaly skin, itching and hyperpigmentation
