opening through the skin and into another organ or another structure

surgical procedure to create an opening (stoma) into the trachea; connects trachea directly to the skin
urostomy
surgical procedure to create an opening (stoma) that connects the urinary system to the surface of the skin; allows using to drain through the abdominal wall
