Cultural differences mean different responses
Caregivers may have different beliefs in raising kids so also behave diff
Takeshi found Japanese babies (collectivist culture)
Extremely distressed when mums left room
Not surprising cus tradtionaly very rarely separated from mums
Displays insecure resistant when in Japan its secure
Germany encourage independence so appear to show Avoidance when it’s secure in germany
