A
- bloat
- active regurg (stim from ETT)
- passive regurg (from LOS relaxation)
- aspiration
- hypovent - IPPV
- hypotension - not like horses, milder

what is recommended to reduce the above risks?
A
dont feed concentrates - reduces gas production
use anticholinergics to reduce saliva production and keep head upwards
leave ETT in until chewing and swallowing
