Adult dosages for amiodarone (cardiac arrest)
300mg
If no response, administer 150 mg over 3-5 minutes
Pediatric dosages for amiodarone (v-fib)
5.0 mg/kg
May repeat dosage every 5 minutes twice
Max dose: 300 mg
Adult dosages for amiodarone (tachydysrhythmias)
150 mg in 50 mL D5W infused over 10 minutes
Adult dosages for amiodarone (infusion)
1.0 mg/min
Pediatric dosages for amiodarone (v-tach)
5.0 mg/kg over 20 minutes
May repeat dosage twice
